Do not date him!

Says Katy Perry: Do not date him!

Jennifer Hudson: Maybe she seemed sad during her Superbowl performance because she was forced to lip synch?

Superbowl: If you were a Comcast subscriber in Tuscan, AZ., your football broadcast was interrupted by a 30-second porn clip.  And here everyone thought Janet Jackson’s Nipplegate was the worst that could happen!

Superbowl Pt. 2: The media industry has serious problems when it can’t even afford to send the editor of Sports Illustrated to the biggest football game of the year!

The View: Heading to LA for a special week of episodes meant to “revitalize” the show.  Among the guests: Miley Cyrus, Jay Leno and…Heidi and Spencer, who show’s producer admits he’s obsessed with.  We feel sorry for him.

Academy Awards: This year’s telecast will be designed to appeal more to a “moviegoing culture.”  We’re not sure what that means but guess we’ll find out on Feb. 22!

Diddy: Came to the profound conclusion that “hip-hop is in a recession.”  ‘Cause, you know, the rest of us are doing so well…

Katy Perry: Seems she has serious beef with ex-boyfriend Travis McCoy.  She’s advising girls to stay away from boys that “just want the milk but don’t want to buy the cow.”

Demi Lovtato: Warning her fans that she may “wear less black” as she matures.  We could’ve told you that!

Twitter: We love micro-blogging and all but this is a little too much: Erykah Badu tweeted while she was in labor!

SIZZLED OUT: Kyle XY

STILL SIZZLING: This famous singer–and big football fan–got a Superbowl-themed surprise party from his actress girlfriend.

No longer a (wannabe) journalist

No longer a (wannabe) journalist

Obama: His presidency may pose the biggest challenge to political cartooning.  The satirists are fretting about how to depict him without being too offensive.  But isn’t offensiveness part of the point?

Lydia Hearst: The publishing heiress has resigned from her New York Post column on grounds that her editor published something with her name that she, in fact, did not write.  Who knew the socialite had such morals?

90210: Back with new episodes tonight…and another interracial couple?  So it seems.

Jonas Bros.: Coming to a theater near you in Walter the Farting Dog.  We just threw up a little.

The Hills: We rarely write about this show because we think it kills brain cells, but we must applaud David Letterman for cleverly attacking L.C. and co. on his show last night.

Hairspray: A sequel is in the works but John Travolta says he’s unlikely to reprise his cross-dressing role.  We’re not thrilled with the idea of a sequel but we feel better about it knowing Travolta won’t be a part of it.

Janet Jackson: Her tour is really not going well.  After canceling a string of dates due to migraines, her opening act LL Cool J (though we like to spell it out: Ladies Love Cool James) has dropped out.  Refund, please.

Zac Efron: Does success in HSM mean success in all other things?  That’s what the execs of the Footloose remake are hoping.  The producion dates have been moved up following Zac’s mega-box office receipts with HSM 3.

Guess they won't be doing THAT anymore!

Guess they won't be doing THAT anymore!

Madonna: So it’s true.  Their reps have released a joint statement.  Divorce will proceed.  Settlement not yet reached.  What we want to know: so did she really have an affair with A-Rod?

Rolling Stone: The over-sized mag is going on a diet.  Starting with the Oct. 30th issue, the magazine will appear just like all the other glossy mags out there.  They save money, we get more pages.  Good for everyone?

Janet Jackson: Her rep is saying the mysterious illness was a case of bad migraines.  Um, okay.

DWTS: Cloris Leachman, 82, is still in the competition.  We still think this can only end badly.

AMA: Among the nominees for the American Music Awards: Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Lil’ Wayne and Taylor Swift.  Jimmy Kimmel will host for the 5th time.  Guess people aren’t sick of him.

Beyonce: Will be giving fans a multiple choice with her new album: a 17-track double disc or an 11-song version.  Smart economical move?
