Does she top your list?

Does she top your list?

American Idol: Down to the final two.  Next week should be pretty great.

Jon & Kate Plus Eight: Really don’t understand all the hubbub surrounding the Gosselin family.  Is it really worthy of the cover of PEOPLE Magazine?!

Beyonce: Tied with T.I. for most BET Awards nominations.  The show will air in June, hosted by Jamie Foxx.

Shanna Moakler: Resigned from the Miss USA organization following the controversy with Miss California, Carrie Prejean.  Does that mean we’ll be getting Meet the Barkers 2 soon?

Olivia Wilde: Feel like most people are going “who?” at the news that Wilde tops Maxim’s Hot 100 list but we’ve been a fan of her since her days on The O.C.!

The Cosby Show: As we come up on the show’s 25th anniversary, Variety is wondering if the show would make the cut today.  In a post-Obama world, we say yes.

Blink-182: Will tour this summer with Fall Out Boy and Weezer.  That’s one heckuva lineup!  Sounds like exactly where we want to be…

SIZZLED OUT: Cassie

STILL SIZZLING: This female comedian, who only recently publicly admitted to being gay, announced yesterday that she’s now the mother of twins.

Do you agree with PEOPLE's choice?

Do you agree with PEOPLE's choice?

Chris Brown: If attorney Mark Geragos has his way, the case against Chris Brown will be dismissed.  Geragos is arguing that the case is tainted due to media leaks and should be thrown out.  It’s a big longshot but who knows what’ll happen?

Christina Applegate: Earned the top spot on PEOPLE’s annual Most Beautiful list.  Not a bad choice but not exactly someone we think is drop-dead gorgeous.  But this is about inner beauty, too, and she definitely has that.

Obama: Last night’s press conference reportedly cost the 3 big networks more than $20 million.  Are we wrong in thinking that’s peanuts for this industry?

Sean Penn: She cried in happiness for his wins during award seasons but that wasn’t enough to stop Penn from filing for a legal separation from wife Robin Wright Penn.  Hate when families can’t make it work.

Swine flu: This is an interesting thought.  Might the potential pandemic cause a rise in TV ratings?  If people are avoiding the outdoors, they might just turn to the old-fashioned television set for entertainment…

Swine flu Pt. 2: Contrary to rumors, the illness did not affect production on the The Real World: Cancun.  While it’s good no one got sick, it definitely would’ve added some new drama to the mix.

SIZZLED OUT: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

STILL SIZZLING: This model turned talk-show host appeared in court yesterday testifying against an alleged stalker.  The star hopes he’ll be walking the runway straight to jail.

Real-life lovebirds!

Real-life lovebirds!

Obama: Not even the president can stand in the way of American Idol.  Though Obama said he wants primetime coverage this week for a press conference, Fox is refusing to give it to him.  The reason?  The conference could cut in to time scheduled for the Idol results show.

Fox: Here’s something the network IS willing to do: hold a contest to find the next best script writer.  If that means less reality shows, then that’s fine with us.

Slumdog Millionaire: Know how to make a great movie even better?  Have the two leads fall in love!  Slumdog’s Dev Patel and Freida Pinto are in a relationship, Patel’s mother confirmed.  Too cute!

Wolverine: News flash–superheros (or rather, the actors that play them) are not infallible.  The planned Mexico City premiere for Wolverine has been canceled due to the spread of the deadly swine flu.

Saved by the Bell: Gotta give Jimmy Fallon credit for trying to stage an SBTB reunion on his show.  Love this segment, which so closely paraodies one of the episodes, it’s kind of scary…in a good way!

YouTube: Does the phrase “shoes, betch!” mean anything to you?  If it does, you have to check out the latest video by “Kelly,” the character responsible for Shoes and Text Message Break-Up.

Gawker: It looks pretty but it’s really quite sad.  Gawker put together an image of all the recently-folded magazines.

SIZZLED OUT: Eminem

STILL SIZZLING: This singer and her ex say they’re modeling their second go-round on long-term couples like Tim Robbins & Susan Sarandon and Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russel.

The hardest working man in show biz. Yep, I said it.

The hardest working man in show biz. Yep, I said it.

Jay Leno: Forced to cancel last night’s Tonight Show when an illness prompted him to go to the hospital.  What’s wrong?  Well, we don’t know but Jay will probably talk (or joke) about it when he gets back.

Roger Ebert: Planning a new movie review show, even though his illnesses have taken away his ability to speak.  Curious to see how this will work.

Bones: Motley Crue will guest-star in the season finale. And there I thought the Family Guy crossover was weird…

ABC: Gave “early pickups” to a dozen shows.  Not among them? Samantha Who or Scrubs.

CSI: Voted viewers’ favorite all-time show in a new poll.  Maybe that means we should watch it sometime?

SIZZLED OUT: Mike Tyson

STILL SIZZLING: This network is planning a sister channel for the Barack and Michelle Obamas of the world.

You'll see it again--just not on a TV screen.

You'll see it again--just not on a TV screen.

Project Runway: The Bravo-Lifetime battle is over but you’ll still have to wait a few more months to see new episodes.  The next season won’t air til August!

Ashton Kutcher: Bringing back Punk’d.  Sort of.  A new version of the let’s-prank-people show will be released on the web.  Maybe this is when he’ll ding-dong-ditch Ted Turner?

Obama: Not sure how we feel about this magazine cover but some people are up in arms.  To be fair, it’sprobably  not how most people want to picture the president.

Natalee Holloway: A television movie based on her disappearance gave the Lifetime Movie Network its best ratings ever.  If only that would bring her back.  Sigh.

Blagojevich: Not so fast, Blago!  After saying he’d appear on a crappy reality show, a judge has actually forbid him to do so.  Pretty sure that makes us the winners here, right?

SIZZLED OUT: Home Improvement

STILL SIZZLING: This upper-class clothing store–named-dropped in everything from Clueless to Beverly Hills 90210–will be the subject of a Bravo reality show.

One more year until Woody and gang return!

One more year until Woody and gang return!

Heroes: Here’s why the ratings might be so bad: it’s one of the most pirated shows!  Well, at least now they know someone’s watching!

MTV: Entering the “Obama era,” the New York Times declared based on the channel’s move to more community-based programing.

Seinfeld: Julia Louis-Dreyfus says she’s game for a Seinfeld movie–if someone can find the money.  That’s the problem for everyone these days, isn’t it?

Oprah: Canceled what would’ve been the “Columbine episode” set to air yesterday.  Never heard of O canceling a show so last minute like this before.  We really think she did a disservice and we’re happy to see that some people agree.

Disney: The next installment in the Toy Story series might not be coming until 2010 but the Mouse House wants you thinking about it now.  They screened a teaser for the film at a recent conference, and plugged the upcoming 3-D editions of the first two films and–our personal favorite–Beauty & the Beast.

SIZZLED OUT: Matthew McConaughey

STILL SIZZLING: If there’s no Seinfeld movie, would you settle for a retooled film version of this 90s sitcom?

Just needed to add some females to this post!

Just needed to add some females to this post!

Zac Efron: Absolutely loved the HSM skit he did on SNL this weekend.  Except for the anti-Semitic Walt Disney.  That part wasn’t necessary.

Eminem: Will be performing at the MTV Movie Awards, according to MTV’s Twitter acount.

Fast & Furious: After the record-breaking success (really!) of the franchise’s fourth installment, they’re now planning a fifth one!  Don’t think anyone expected this!

Obama: Love that the identity of his dog can’t even stay secret!  The news was leaked by an anonymous site before The Washington Post, given rights to the story, could report it.

RENT: We had the opportunity to see our favorite musical this weekend for the sixth time!  What made this performance so special?  It starred Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal back in the roles they originated more than 10 years ago.  And they were as amazing as ever!

Scott Peterson: Always was and always will be fascinated by the Laci/Scott Peterson case.  Really glad to PEOPLE did an update on the story.

SIZZLED OUT: Beyonce and Jay-Z

STILL SIZZLING: This singer praised her Rihanna for being a “cool chick.”  Did she kiss her, too?
