Does she top your list?

Does she top your list?

American Idol: Down to the final two.  Next week should be pretty great.

Jon & Kate Plus Eight: Really don’t understand all the hubbub surrounding the Gosselin family.  Is it really worthy of the cover of PEOPLE Magazine?!

Beyonce: Tied with T.I. for most BET Awards nominations.  The show will air in June, hosted by Jamie Foxx.

Shanna Moakler: Resigned from the Miss USA organization following the controversy with Miss California, Carrie Prejean.  Does that mean we’ll be getting Meet the Barkers 2 soon?

Olivia Wilde: Feel like most people are going “who?” at the news that Wilde tops Maxim’s Hot 100 list but we’ve been a fan of her since her days on The O.C.!

The Cosby Show: As we come up on the show’s 25th anniversary, Variety is wondering if the show would make the cut today.  In a post-Obama world, we say yes.

Blink-182: Will tour this summer with Fall Out Boy and Weezer.  That’s one heckuva lineup!  Sounds like exactly where we want to be…

SIZZLED OUT: Cassie

STILL SIZZLING: This female comedian, who only recently publicly admitted to being gay, announced yesterday that she’s now the mother of twins.

Even the circus leaves town...

Even the circus leaves town...

Britney: The headline says it all: Bad economy may Britney Spears’s Circus Tent.  See, even iconic pop stars aren’t immune!

Prison Break: Here’s some more info on the series’ end–it won’t all air on TV!  The so-called finale is still on for May 15 but then there will be two additional episodes released on DVD.  Thanks for digging into our pockets, guys.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles are as good as canceled.  At least this frees up Brian Austin Green for 90210!

Twitter: Apparently there’s a “fight” going on between Ashton Kutcher and CNN’s Larry King on who will get to a million followers first.  Don’t these people have work to do??

Variety: We understand that they’re traditionally a trade magazine (read: in print), but really have no idea why they would lay off one of the web editors.  Pretty sure the web is the future of journalism.  Just sayin’.

Alec Baldwin: Speaking of the industry’s future, Baldwin wrote a whole column on it for The Huffington Post.  Why Baldwin?  We’re still trying to figure that one out.

Condoleezza Rice: And it gets weirder: Rice is now a columnist for The Daily Beast and she’s writing about, of all things, her love of Tiger Woods.  Random!

Gawker: Came up with the “5 types of American Idol watchers.” Love it!  Where do you fall?

3-D: Coming to a television near you!  The first “full-time 3-D network” is in the works.   Expect people to have a lot more headaches and nausea!

Blagojevich: Wow.  Just wow.  The former Illinois governor has signed on to a REALITY SHOW!  Can’t make this stuff up, folks!

SIZZLED OUT: TV Land

STILL SIZZLING: This actress (and book author!) is denying rumors that she’s anorexic.  Her excuse: she’s been pregnant and people have forgotten what she looks like thin!

Scrubbing up once more!

Scrubbing up again!

Heath Ledger: On the anniversary of his death (Jan. 22, 2008), he gets a posthumous Oscar nomination, the only one for The Dark Knight.

George Clooney: After months of ‘will he or won’t he?’ debate, Clooney will indeed make the rounds once more on ER, PEOPLE is reporting.

Oscars: Wall-E isn’t up for best picture after all.  Dun dun dunnnnnn.

Oscars, Pt. 2: The Golden Globes nominated Kate Winslet for supporting actress in The Reader.  Now she’s got leading actress but nothing for Revolutionary Road, which–unlike at the Globes–was shut out of the top categories.

American Idol: Can anything take this thing down?  Even with the inaugural festivities broadcast last night, Idol still racked up the highest ratings.  There’s gotta be a fix, right?  Or were people Obama-ed out by nightfall?

Veronica Mars: Fans who felt jilted by the show’s cancellation a few years back can rejoice now that a movie adaptation is finally underway.  Never watched the series but probably could be convinced to go see it.

Fall Out Boy: Recorded a special version of The Simpsons theme song, to be played after this week’s episode.  Our guess is Star Wars is next.

Obama: Gotta love the internet.  You can be in one place and still see practically every Obama front page from yesterday’s papers.

Obama, Pt. 2: He doesn’t have to give up his addiction!  Obama will keep the CrackBerry, now outfitted with special security encryption.  So how long until it’s hacked?

The Daily Show: Time flies!  The little series that could is 10 years old!  And Variety has a bunch of articles to mark the milestone.

No Doubt: Hey baby! Going on tour (with Paramore) this summer for the first time in 5 years!

SIZZLED OUT: Marcia Cross

STILL SIZZLING: This alleged hold-out on a TV-to-movie adaptation said he might “put the script in his shredder.”

Guess they won't be so close anymore.

Guess they won't be so close anymore.

Sarah Palin: Funny on SNL last night but funny doesn’t make a great vice president, does it?

Obama: Former Secretary of State Colin Powell has endorsed Obama, breaking party lines.  Surprising?

Obama Pt. 2: Also got three media endorsements last week–two of them also quite surprising.  This is the first time the LA Times and the Chicago Tribune have endorsed a Democrat!

Variety: Has a great article on the incestuous relationship between film and television.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles got a surprise full-season pickup.  The bad news: It means Brian Austin Green will still be too busy for a 90210 cameo!

Spamalot: Even Clay Aiken couldn’t save it.  The show will close in January.

SIZZLED OUT: Mad Men

STILL SIZZLING: Which celeb–who was shortchanged in her father’s will not too long ago–is selling her home for nearly 2.4 million?
