Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Zac Efron: Completely in love with the above picture of him and Vanessa Hudgens.  Very fitting that two of Disney’s biggest stars recreated a major fictional Disney couple for this portrait.  Just beautiful!

The View: In his first-ever appearance on the show, Jimmy Kimmel thought it’d be funny to come out dressed as former co-host Rosie O’Donnell.  Clever but we all know there doesn’t need to be any more fuel added to that fire.  Wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

The View Pt. 2: But Babs, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, insists she “can never be mad at Rosie.”  Again, wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

Oprah: Doing a special show this Thursday, alongside Tyra Banks, “dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world.”  Again, should fuel be added to this particular (and personal–as in, just between Rihanna and Chris Brown) fire–or is this a great way to give a very important topic (domestic violence) some much-needed exposure?

TMZ: Head honco Harvey Levin wholeheartedly believes (as if we couldn’t tell this already) that the mainstream media should be covering Rihanna/Chris Brown even more.  Levin, meet Oprah.

Gilmore Girls: If watching it on ABC Family isn’t enough, the entire series is also coming to SOAPNet, one of our favorite channels!

SIZZLED OUT: Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel

STILL SIZZLING: She’s no longer an Idol contestant, but get used to hearing this gal’s voice during every elimination episode.

The next Peter Parker and Mary-Jane?

The next Peter Parker and Mary-Jane?

Justin Timberlake: Will be a guest on the first episode of Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, airing Monday.  Don’t know about you, but that’s not enough to get us to watch.

Schwarzenegger: Who said he was done with Hollywood?  The governator will be making a cameo in a Sylvester Stallone film.  That seems like a good use of his time.

David Archuleta: Blogged about filming a guest spot on Hannah Montana and said “Miley was a cool person to hang out with.”  By next week, the tabloids will be calling them a couple.

Gilmore Girls: The final season, arguably its worst, is finally coming to syndication.  You can watch it this June on ABC Family.

Spider-Man: A Broadway musical version is definitely happening, with a targeted opening date of early 2010.  Possible casting: Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess, the latter of whom we ADORE.  Coincidence: their Across the Universe director, Julie Taymor, is behind the musical.

Wheel of Fortune: Our episode airs tomorrow night!  Check your local listings for channel and time.

SIZZLED OUT: Ronald Reagan

STILL SIZZLING: This movie is being remade.  But giving you a HINT would give away the answer!

Not everyone's favorite piano man

Not everyone's favorite piano man

24: The new season is just getting started and you better cherish every second of it.  Star Kiefer Sutherland says he could see next year being the last but that it’s ultimately up to the audience.  Funny, we thought it was up to the network!  Since when do audiences ever get their say?

Oprah: Though she was “amused” by Blagojevic saying he considered her to replace Obama in the Illinois senate, O also says she thinks she would’ve done a good job!

DWTS: Not sure if this is good news or bad but Kevin Federline will not be appearing on the next season.

Supernatural: The show suffered a devastating loss on Sunday when one of its executive producers passed away from cancer.  Not sure yet if/how this will affect the show’s future but that probably isn’t the most important thing right now.

Terrell Owens: Getting his own VH1 reality show. Just what we need.  Not that there ever is a reality show we need…

Digital TV: If you haven’t made the switch yet, you could have four more months to do so if the House and Senate can agree.  The Senate, at President Obama’s urging, already passed the bill.

The Real World: Leaving the country next season to travel oh so far away to Cancun.  We’re still waiting for The Real World: Long Island or, at the very least, The Hamptons.

Variety: The latest to be hit with layoffs.  Our job prospects are decreasing by the day…

Defamer: Making the bold prediction that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button will go 0-for-13 at the Oscars next month.

Slate: Making the even bolder claim that Billy Joel is “the worst pop singer ever.”  That is extremely harsh, even for them.  Jossip fired back with a list of their own.

SIZZLED OUT: Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls)

STILL SIZZLING: This once popular series will be unexpectedly going on a long hiatus soon.  Hope this doesn’t mean things are gonna get ugly!

December 12, 2008 Pt. 2

We want a reunion!

We want a reunion!

Jennifer Aniston: Says her GQ photo spread wasn’t to “make any kind of statement.” She’s lying, and we all know it but it’s okay because the statement was much-needed.

HSM: Disney won’t appreciate this: Zac and Vanessa taking pics with fans in what appears to be a sex shop!

Pete Wentz: Wrote on his blog that he doesn’t “want to go down that road” of selling Bronx’s baby pictures.  We have a feeling that will change eventually.

Hugh Jackman: Having a bittersweet month: deemed Sexiest Man Alive, Australia fails and now named the host of the Oscars.  Still a pretty good life overall, no?

Hugh Jackman Pt. 2: So this pretty much guarantees that Australia won’t get any Oscar nods.  They wouldn’t have a host whose movie is in contention, right?!

Lauren Graham: Our favorite fast talker/Gilmore Girl is coming back to primetime!  An untitled show is in the works on ABC.  Would love to see an Alexis Bledel cameo!

Laurence Fishbourne: Predictions of a rise in black actors on TV (thanks to Obama’s win) will get its first test this week as Fishbourne joins the cast of CSI.

Showtime: We think this will be a disaster but we know they don’t care what we think (but you do!  Thanks, guys!)  The cable channel is launching a show called “Way Out” where cameras film closeted gays telling the truth to their families.

Andy Samberg: Releasing an album with the rest of the Lonely Island boys from SNL.  We just don’t get the appeal.  Who wants to explain it to us?

Obama: Among the stars and musical guests expected at inauguration events:  Anne Hathaway, Sting, Tim Robbins, Ron Howard and Spike Lee.

DreamWorks Animation: Planning Madagascar 3 and movies in 3-D.

Newspapers: Will not be bailed out by the government.  For your First Amendment rights and ours, that is a good thing!

NYT: Would a merger with Google be the answer to their financial problems?  Only if you’re willing to throw away family history.
