They're having a baby!

They're having a baby!

Prison Break: Finally returning next week with its last batch of episodes but with a new air day: Fridays.  Great, now the ratings will decrease even more!

Sarah Michelle Gellar: She’s been MIA for a while and now we know why: she was babymaking!  The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star (and wife of Freddie Prinze Jr.) is expecting her first child.  Congrats to her!

NBC: There’s a comprehensive look at the Peacock network’s failures (and limited successes) under much maligned head, Ben Silverman.  How does this guy still have a job?!

Los Angeles Times: Well, NBC did accomplish something: got Cali’s biggest newspaper to run a front-page ad for new series Southland.  And not just any ad, one that looks exactly like an article.  Yes, journalism ethics have been thrown out the window.

Parade: The weekly mag compiled their annual list of celebrity salaries and, needless to say, it’s quite interesting.  Makes you wonder if there really is a recession going on.

SIZZLED OUT: Bruce Springsteen

STILL SIZZLING: This musicially-inclined couple brought in a whopping $162 million last year.  You can put a lot of rings on it with that!

Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Zac Efron: Completely in love with the above picture of him and Vanessa Hudgens.  Very fitting that two of Disney’s biggest stars recreated a major fictional Disney couple for this portrait.  Just beautiful!

The View: In his first-ever appearance on the show, Jimmy Kimmel thought it’d be funny to come out dressed as former co-host Rosie O’Donnell.  Clever but we all know there doesn’t need to be any more fuel added to that fire.  Wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

The View Pt. 2: But Babs, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, insists she “can never be mad at Rosie.”  Again, wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

Oprah: Doing a special show this Thursday, alongside Tyra Banks, “dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world.”  Again, should fuel be added to this particular (and personal–as in, just between Rihanna and Chris Brown) fire–or is this a great way to give a very important topic (domestic violence) some much-needed exposure?

TMZ: Head honco Harvey Levin wholeheartedly believes (as if we couldn’t tell this already) that the mainstream media should be covering Rihanna/Chris Brown even more.  Levin, meet Oprah.

Gilmore Girls: If watching it on ABC Family isn’t enough, the entire series is also coming to SOAPNet, one of our favorite channels!

SIZZLED OUT: Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel

STILL SIZZLING: She’s no longer an Idol contestant, but get used to hearing this gal’s voice during every elimination episode.

Is this story really deserving of an EW cover?

Is this story really deserving of an EW cover?

Lost: We’re starting to regret never jumping on this bandwagon.  Our chances will further be diminished once American Idol starts airing opposite it in March.  Great.

Rachel Bilson: We were rooting for her to get back with Adam Brody but we doubt that’ll happen now that she’s engaged to Hayden Christensen.

Jimmy Fallon: There’s a lot riding on him when his NBC late-night show finally starts airing.  After all, does he really want to go down in history with these failures?  We don’t think he’ll be able to hack it, but we’re a little biased since we’re not Fallon fans in the first place.

Reality TV: Believe it or not, the much-maligned genre does something well, the Los Angeles Times wants you to know.  It includes a lot more diverse characters than scripted TV.  But here’s hoping that will change with the Obama era!

Entertainment Weekly: It was bad enough when Twilight dominated the mag’s covers before and during the film’s release, but again now?  So. Over. It.  Which is kind of funny, considering we were never into it in the first place!  The TV Addict’s tongue-in-cheek cover idea is so much better!

Gawker: TIME listed them as one of the most overrated blogs.  Not surprisingly, Gawker disagrees.  (But we think we ALL can agree the spot given to PerezHilton.com is most certainly deserving!)

Fashion Week: In honor of the industry’s most important week of the year, take some time to check out Jezebel’s collection of hilarious runway-shows-gone-wrong videos.  Priceless.

Wheel of Fortune: Our episode doesn’t air til the end of the month but they’re already promoting it!  If you recall, it will be the show’s 5,000th episode. We’re famous by association!

SIZZLED OUT: Salma Hayek

STILL SIZZLING: More engagement news!  This hairy Idol contestant revealed this week that he’s getting married this summer.  (And no, it’s not Sanjaya!)

kanye-west-birthday-party-rihanna

Kanye with his "baby sis"

Rihanna: Most publications are reporting, based on “sources,” that she was indeed the victim of Chris Brown’s alleged assault.  (The first to name her, perhaps unethically, was the Los Angeles Times.)  As such, PEOPLE has an article on Kanye West’s concern for Rihanna: he’s “devastated” and would do “any and everything to help her.”  He also says he thinks RiRi could be “the greatest artist of all time.”  That’s a little much, Kanye.  You can stop now.

Obama: The Mrs. will be only the second First Lady in history to be featured on the cover of Vogue.  The first: Hillary Clinton.  We would’ve guessed Jackie O!

Obama Pt. 2: Gave the Huffington Post the honor of being the first online publication to be called upon in a White House news conference.  Will SIZZLE be next?  (Hey, we can dream, can’t we?!)

Grey’s Anatomy: Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are as good as gone.  Apparently it’s just a matter of “when.”

Adam Sandler: If this doesn’t mean hilarity, we don’t know what does.  Sandler will star alongside Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider and David Spade in a yet-to-be-titled movie.  It’s gotta be funny, right?

Queen Latifah: Not best known for her singing but the girl does have a voice. She’ll prove it later this month when shes sings  the classic “I’ll Be Seeing You” at the Oscars.

Future TV: A new report argues that, in the future, we’ll have the capability of watching TV through contact lenses.  Tattoos that allow us to feel the character’s emotions may also be possible. Sounds bizarre.  And incredibly intriguing!

My Network TV: In its own futuristic move, network is planning to stop being, well, a network.  Instead it will just have two hours of syndicated programming each week night.  The rest will likely be paid programing a la infomercials.  As long as it includes ShamWow, we’re in!

Sports Illustrated: If the cover model (Bar Refaeli) for the Swimsuit issue is going to pull her bottoms down, couldn’t they at least make sure she didn’t have any tan lines? Or is that supposed to be hot or something?

Celeb Mags: No wonder we can’t get hired!  The grocery line staples are suffering from major losses right now.  Not that we didn’t already know that.  And not that we wanted to work for tabloids, anyway.  PEOPLE (our dream job!) was the only mag to grow!!!!

SIZZLED OUT: Nick Cannon (Mariah Carey)

STILL SIZZLING: A first-time survey by Forbes ranked this actor, known for his sitcom and movie blockbusters, as “Hollywood’s most valuable,” meaning he is the best at “ensuring the financial success of film projects.”

We could've been sisters!

We could've been sisters!

Britney: Apparently those restraining orders come with a price.  Sam Lutfi is suing Brit Brit for defamation.  Wonder if the court will rule him a public figure?

Miley Cyrus: They’ve both dated a Jonas Brother (more on them below!) and now they’ll have something else in common: Grammy performances.  Cyrus will duet with Taylor Swift on this Sunday’s show.

Obama: The Sasha and Malia dolls are being renamed Sydney and Mariah.  Obama wins again!

Twitter: Ashton Kutcher is peeved that media outlets are taking some of his Tweets and misrepresenting him.  Or so he says on his blog.  Which he took to because “140 characters works for some things. Sometimes you need more space.”

TV: The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a new study shows watching TV can lead to depression.  That’s funny, because TV is what keeps us out of it!

HBO: In yet another example of art imitating life, the cable network is developing a new series that will explore the current finanial crisis.  Are they sure spending money on this series is a wise idea given the crisis in the first place?!

Gawker: With newspapers failing and even online sites suffering, Gawker asks: would people rather pay to read the current level of NYT journalism, or have it go away? Not an easy question when you love The New York Times but can’t afford to “waste” money like that.

Gawker Pt. 2: They also put up a hilarious poll asking which Jo Bro you’d lay off.  We know, we know…all of them!

SIZZLED OUT: Justin Timberlake (Jessica Biel)

STILL SIZZLING: Though rarely seen in public, this actress–and close Madonna friend–is denying she, too, is having marriage troubles with her own Brit.
