Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Prince Charming and his Sleeping Beauty. All together now: awwwwwwww!

Zac Efron: Completely in love with the above picture of him and Vanessa Hudgens.  Very fitting that two of Disney’s biggest stars recreated a major fictional Disney couple for this portrait.  Just beautiful!

The View: In his first-ever appearance on the show, Jimmy Kimmel thought it’d be funny to come out dressed as former co-host Rosie O’Donnell.  Clever but we all know there doesn’t need to be any more fuel added to that fire.  Wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

The View Pt. 2: But Babs, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, insists she “can never be mad at Rosie.”  Again, wonder if Ro will respond on her blog?

Oprah: Doing a special show this Thursday, alongside Tyra Banks, “dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world.”  Again, should fuel be added to this particular (and personal–as in, just between Rihanna and Chris Brown) fire–or is this a great way to give a very important topic (domestic violence) some much-needed exposure?

TMZ: Head honco Harvey Levin wholeheartedly believes (as if we couldn’t tell this already) that the mainstream media should be covering Rihanna/Chris Brown even more.  Levin, meet Oprah.

Gilmore Girls: If watching it on ABC Family isn’t enough, the entire series is also coming to SOAPNet, one of our favorite channels!

SIZZLED OUT: Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel

STILL SIZZLING: She’s no longer an Idol contestant, but get used to hearing this gal’s voice during every elimination episode.

This is a picture of genius!

This is a picture of genius!

Oscars: We can not stop watching the Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, Zac Efron, et. al. dance number!  Highlight of the show, if you ask us.  We’re still looking for the lyrics to that and the opening number.

Oscars Pt. 2: The broadcast surged 13 percent in the ratings from last year.  We’ll credit the above for that.

Slumdog Millionaire: This week’s big winner has the (dis)honor of their signature song, Jai Ho, being covered by the Pussycat Dolls.

Rihanna: TMZ swears they obtained the battered pic of RiRi legally but that’s not the issue, in our opinion.  To us, it’s a matter of ethics.  Then again, we always knew TMZ didn’t have any so perhaps it’s all a moot point!

Blink-182: If you’re excited for the reunion but want to know where the hell they’ve been the last few years, check out this detailed timeline.

DVDs: Now that the Everwood season 2 DVD finally has a release date, Newsday is looking in to why some series never make it to the shelves.  And it ain’t pretty.

SIZZLED OUT: Rosie O’Donnell

STILL SIZZLING: This veteran actress is perservering with her new Broadway show despite outside protests for her 1970s  behavior.

Wish him a happy birthday!

Wish him a happy birthday!

Lost: Premieres tonight.  Too bad we never jumped on the bandwagon.  It’s probably why we can’t enjoy this Lost/Heroes spoof.

Lost, Pt 2: But whether you watch the show or not, The New York Times has fascinating read on the guy in charge of keeping track of every single character and plot development.

Mad Men: Here’s another we haven’t gotten into.  But it’ll be back for a new season!  Never too late…

Ashlee Simpson: Who’s more desperate?  Ashlee and babydaddy Pete Wentz or CSI for employing them?

Oscars: We’re only a day away from the nominations and we finally know who will be doing the big reveal: Forest Whitaker!

Shia LaBeouf: Though he never faced charges from his summer crash, his license was still suspended for refusing a sobriety test.  Know what that means?  One year of being chaffeured around!

Jennifer Hudson: As news surfaced that she’ll perform at the Grammys, the alleged killer of her relatives plead not guilty to murder.

Obama: There’s no doubt that the question of our generation will be where were you when he was inaugurated?  But The St. Petersburg Times points out some other key and relatively recent historical events covered by the media.

Facebook: Had more than 1.5 million status updates related to Obama yesterday.  Wonder what Twitter had?

Twitter: They probably did pretty well, at least according to this.

Spongebob Squarepants: It’s been 10 years since we first met he who lives in a pineapple under the sea.  Nickelodeon is celebrating with a documentary.

TMZ: Large TV audience —-> constant episodes—-> spin-off —-> more terrible TV.  Any questions?

STILL SIZZLING: This ABC star confirmed today that her husband–and father to her two young twins–is suffering from cancer.

Does this look like a lawyer to you?

Does this look like a lawyer to you?

Heath Ledger: His family plans on giving his Golden Globe trophy to daughter Matilda.  Rightfully so!

Slumdog Millionaire: One of the reasons ABC is considering bringing the hit show back.  Been there, done that?  We’re kind of over it…

Vanessa Hudgens: Now that HSM is long over (sniff sniff), Hudgens is trying to piggyback on to another series…Twilight.  What ever happened to ‘breaking free’?

Hilary Duff: Signed a development deal with NBC back in November and now actually has something to show for it.  Barely Legal will take on a whole new meaning!

NBC: Creating a panel of “leading women” (which apparently includes Tori Spelling) to help advertisers better market to females.

Mariska Hargitay: Word broke late yesterday that the Law & Order star has a “partially collapsed lung”…and it won’t impact her TV commitments one bit.  Surprising.  Collapsed lung sounds serious, no?

Til’ Death: Hasn’t died.  Who knew?!  Better question: who cares?

The Sopranos: 10-year anniversary.  Again, who knew?!  We feel old. (And the most important Soprano, James Gandolfini, of all has a new gig: Broadway!)

Shaquille O’Neal: Mentioned on his Twitter feed that he’s getting a doctorate in “human resource development.”  One more time, all together now: WHO KNEW?!

TMZ: You know something needs to be changed in the television industry when TMZ TV is the only show that had 52 weeks of original programming in 2008.

SIZZLED OUT: Charlotte Church

STILL SIZZLING: We’re headed to LA tomorrow to tape an appearance on this game show.  Good thing we know the alphabet!

Who needs a fact-checker?

Who needs a fact-checker?

Rosie O’Donnell: We are sooooo excited for Rosie Live tonight!

Kanye West: An investigation is again taking place in the 2007 death of his mother, Shonda.  Californian authorities are focusing their efforts on Kanye’s cousin who was supposed to be taking care of Shonda after her cosmetic surgery.

Mariah Carey: Hmmm.  The singer didn’t exactly diffuse rumors of a pregnancy on Ellen today.  When offered champagne by the clever host, Carey first accepted but then didn’t actually drink it, giving the lame reason that it was too early to drink.  Riiiight.  Like it’s ever too early for any star to drink.

Academy Awards: The key to winning an Oscar could be as simple as having a unique haircut.  We’re off to the salon.

TMZ: The television version will be on air for at least the next two years.  Thanks, TV gods.  (That was sarcasm.)

Ashlee Simpson: Notice how her name is spelt.  Now notice how it is on the cover of OK! Now laugh.

Ann Moore: The Time Inc. CEO and mastermind behind their massive layoffs will be honored with a lifetime achievement award.  Seems fair, doesn’t it?

How do you prefer your Olsens?

How do you prefer your Olsens?

Jennifer Hudson: A car allegedly connected to the possible kidnapping of Hudson’s nephew has been found.  An unidentified body has been found inside the vehicle, though that detail may change in mere hours.

HSM: Came out on top of the box office, like we knew it would.  The $42 million in sales broke two records: highest ever for a movie musical and for a non-animated G-rated film.

Zack and Miri: Creator Kevin Smith is shocked by how many people think this film is a real porno.  His reply? “Are you retarded? When was the last porno you saw that had ‘porno’ in the title?'”  Hilarious as always. We could make a whole post just filled with quotes from this article.

Radar: And another one bites the dust.  Say goodbye to everyone’s favorite hipster mag.

The Olsen Twins: Planning world domination by building a “true American brand.”  All we’re asking for is a Full House reunion.

TMZ: Claim they’ve reached a peaceful coexistence with the celebrities they harass, um, we mean, cover.  We’ll believe it when the lawsuits stop.

Amy Winehouse: Back in the hospital…for “tests.”  We feel like, sad as it is to say, the whole world is just waiting for her to die and won’t be the least bit surprised when it happens.

OTH: We hoped there’d be smooth sailing ahead for Leyton but with Austin Nichols scheduled to appear in a 10-episode arc, we have a feeling a wedding might be long off.  Tear.  We’ll meet the potential homewrecker in tonight’s episode.

SIZZLED OUT: Supernatural

STILL SIZZLING: Which star is taking her on-screen gig a little too seriously?  She thinks it’s her real job to save things!  Specifically, whales!
