Causing trouble?

Causing trouble?

American Idol: Ryan Seacrest’s “right hand”–and by that, we mean one of his crew members–suffered an injury during rehearsal when the movable staircase malfunctioned.  Seacrest tweeted later that she was “doing much better.”

Kirstie Alley: Her post-Jenny Craig weight gain earned her the cover of this week’s PEOPLE.  At least she consented to the article.  Would really hate if it was a write-around, like the Jessica Simpson cover stories from a few months ago.

Kiefer Sutherland: The 24 actor reportedly had a little scuffle outside a Met Costume Gala after-party.  Doesn’t he know the goal of each day should be avoiding getting sent to jail again?!

Ryan Reynolds: Following the success of Wolverine, Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool in his own spin-off flick.  To be honest, we haven’t seen any X-Men movies but Reynolds isn’t really the superhero type…

Sizzlemaker: Did an interview with SisterDivas Magazine about Sizzle and other blogs. Check it out!

SIZZLED OUT: 50 Cent

STILL SIZZLING: This unauthorized biography wasn’t exactly a home run.  In fact, despite recent controversey, sales have been quite lackluster.

With a body like that, no wonder he was marathon-ready!

With a body like that, no wonder he was marathon-ready!

SNL: Their HSM and The View spoofs were pretty funny.  John McCain–not so much.

FNCU: We thought this was a joke.  It’s not.  You can apply to Fox News Channel University.  Don’t get too alarmed, though–it’s just an internship program.

Ryan Reynolds: Completed the New York City Marathon on behalf of “those who can’t,” namely sufferers of Parkinson’s Disease, something very near and dear to our hearts.

Nelly: Finally admitting to a years-long relationship with Ashanti.  The key to their relationship?  Having fun.  Ha!  If only it were that easy!

November Sweeps: It’s just about here!  Things to look forward to: Oprah on 30 Rock, Rosie’s variety show, the 24 movie and much more!  Woot woot!

The CW: Since the network seems fixated on remakes these days, some are calling for a Saved By The Bell spin-off.  We wouldn’t complain.  Or would we?

Def Jam: The executive vice president was found dead Saturday in an apparent suicide.  The exec, Jay-Z’s successor, was responsible for artists like Beyonce, Ciara and Young Jeezy throughout his career in the music business.  We’ve been saying it a lot lately and we’ll say it once more: too much death.

SIZZLED OUT: Simon Cowell

STILL SIZZLING: Which political pundit, spoofed on SNL this weekend, decided to crash the rehearsal just to see how Ben Affleck would depict him?

Still hanging tough!

Still hanging tough!

NKOTB: Now that New Kids on the Block have staged a successful (?) reunion, who’s next?  NSYNC?  BSB?  OTown?  2ge+ther?  98 Degrees?  BBMak?  Evan and Jaron?  LFO?  The list goes on and on…

Obama Mania: Good ol’ community organizer Barack is planning 30-minute campaign ads on some of the major networks.  Wait, that’s what we thought debates were for…?!

Barbara Walters: Why is everyone giving Babs flack for interviewing Peter Cook?  She’s a journalist!  She’s supposed to interview the “bad guys”!

Ryan Reynolds: Plan A to stay relevant: Marry someone more famous than you. Plan B: Run in a marathon benefiting Parkinson’s Disease research. Guess we can’t make fun of you any more.

Ashley Tisdale: The Tis claims she’s never been attracted to friend and co-star Zac Efron.  Liar!

SIZZLED OUT: Rosie O’Donnell

STILL SIZZLING: Which rock band is PO’ed at a certain presidential candidate for using one of their songs at campaign events?  Says the band: “To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song.”  Guess that means they’re voting for “that one”!
